The Lost City

I found the lost city! Well, I followed my guapo guide Henry to Ciudad Perdida (or Teyuna to the locals) in the Santa Marta Ranges, Colombia. It belonged to the Tayrona people. You have to walk through the jungle for 3 days and then climb 1200 steps to find it! The only way back to civilisation is to retrace your steps 😊

The views were impressive, even when I was gasping for air 😆

Cooling off in the river after a morning of hiking was the best. I didn’t have to bother showering! 5 days, 46km in total and with only one afternoon of jungle rain. I was soaked but it was pretty fun. Or as Henry would say, A-maaazing 😀
