Today I ate guinea pig

Before you go judging me, you should know that roasted cuy (guinea pig) is considered a delicacy in Ecuador. Also, it is supposed to be the most delicious in Cuenca so I had to try. Verdict: guinea pig crackling is delicious, the flesh is a bit fiddly to eat because of the tiny ribs, but it’s ok.

 
 Cuenca is lovely, I like it here. I went on a bus tour around the city and met an ecuadorian nurse and her son. They’re from Quito and want to catch up for cafe when I’m there. The mum wanted a photo so I took a selfie 😊
