We started our trek from the Indian village of Parai Tepui. Roraima is 2810m high and it took 6 days to return back to village. This trek involved crossing a few rivers, camping in tents, no showers, some rock scrambling and pooing in a plastic bag at the top. And I paid for that! I used a water purification tablet for the first time on the day we climbed to the top. Unfortunately, I managed to have a pretty good allergic reaction to the tablet (I think) when I got to the top. I was so itchy I felt like I was on fire and my face and lips swelled. Luckily, I’m pretty good at self medicating 😷😥 6 days in total…I was pretty happy to shower at the end.

stunning scenery!
love the daggy thongs and socks photo of you.
and another toilet story … you are obsessed .. maybe you should become a colo-rectal surgeon?
shame about the allergic reaction to your water purification tablet … remember it is the second dose that causes the anaphylactic reaction!
stay well.
